White Papers/Treatment Guidelines

The CyberKnife Society has prepared a series of White Papers/Guidelines that will provide information on the use of CyberKnife Stereotactic Radiosurgery in several different clinical situations.  The White Papers/Guidelines are an in-depth exploration of the clinical indications for CyberKnife, complete with references.  The overall goal of the project is to increase clinical awareness and knowledge for our members, especially new members.  The papers provide a systematic review of the clinical indications for CyberKnife treatments. CKS members must login to access these papers.

We intend to prepare papers on all clinically relevant sites.  Each site will be reviewed using the following format:

1.  Introduction
2.  Definition and Incidence
3.  Prognostic Factors
4.  Cellular Classification
5.  Staging
6.  Treatment Options
7.  SRS Literature Review
8.  Clinical Indications and Guidelines for SRS

We have also made a version of the papers available to the public, Section 8 Clinical Indications and Guidelines for SRS, has been removed.  Feel free to provide this paper to patients, insurance carriers, etc.
